I’ve started tweaking Arthemia theme for IEndorser and I’ve encountered some problems (bugs) while doing so…

What I‘ve so far tweaked the following:

* Removed the original search in index.php to Google Search

* I’ve had trouble putting it in as the navigation bar started to double the height, I’ve tweaked the CSS (for a while, long while…) before getting it right.

* Added an advertisement on the Header (changed to 728 x 90)

* Not much tweaking needed but more on defining the width and height of logo and the advertisement.

* Tweaked the categories shown

* Chose which categories to show in index.php was tough, I had to guess till I got the number right (category number).

* Subscribe Now

* Had to add a new CSS value for H4 to become H3 (to be shaded like the other widgets), Image of RSS and email subscription which took a long time (email subscription was going under the RSS image). RSS had to float left and email to float right and adjusted the length to fit both.

* Readjusted the levelling of the title of this widget as there was no margin on top.

* Inserted adsense to the 300 x 250 box on the sidebar widget

* Added the number of posts to 8 to compensate the length of my sidebar

* Error on the next page, I’ve encountered a problem switching to the next page from the index. Tried to find a solution and the way to do it is by changing the (Settings > Reading) Showing BlogPost equal to the display tweaked from code.

I’m still on the exploration stage on this theme and am going to continue to tweak it. I believe there’s more improvement that can be done and to further improve monetization.
